Activities and attractions
On the lakeside on Fridays there is a market and there is no shortage of fireworks displays during the summer evenings with live music, it is a quiet town for a relaxing holiday, the gardens of Villa Taranto are famous with a thousand varieties of flowers (second in Europe after Versailles) a few km away you can see the Toce waterfalls, just 25 km away you arrive in Switzerland, 50 km away you arrive at the foot of Monte Rosa in the characteristic Valser town of Macugnaga, in Pallanza you will find the pedestrian and cycle path, the longest on Lake Maggiore.
