The accommodation

The house is build on the highest point in a quinta with a beautiful view over the water and beaches a few hundred meters from the surf school and the beach. From the rooftop terrace you can enjoy (at the bbq for example) or while sunbathing on a cracking view.

The house is 40 years old but this year completely renovated and is therefore like new, including new furnishings, wifi, large plasma screen, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and in the garage (two cars) a washing machine.
The house has the ground floor, with a garage, two bedrooms and a bathroom and on the first floor living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Three bedrooms have a double bed and on the ground floor is a bedroom furnished with two single beds. Cot, high chair and car seat (s) present for children. Sufficient (permanent) storage.
There are two terraces (above a sun terrace with barbecue) and a swimming pool (illuminated) sundeck (from morning to evening), also with a nice view. On the first floor is a covered terrace / balcony across the width of the house.

Beaches

At the confluence of the Lagoa de Obidos lagoon with the sea, is the estuary of Foz do Arelho, offering the possibility to choose from two different beach species. On the one hand there is the lagoon, a beautiful location where the banks are overgrown lush. The water is calm and ideal for children and windsurfing. The wind here is normal, it is also very beneficial for them.

On the other hand there is the beach by the sea. The sea swell but no major currents. It offers excellent conditions for (kite) surfing and has the blue flag, which attests to the quality of the water.

Foz do Arelho has therefore become one of the oldest and classic resorts of Portugal one of the most beautiful seaside resorts with beautiful beaches. Yet the rustic charm of the village are not lost and also has many beach accommodation offer enough days and nights and bring around the beach by, either on the sea or in the lagoon.

Activities and attractions

Also in the area is plenty to see and do. In the city of Caldas da Rainha (about 5 km ) is already possible to buy and you can shop around. Lisbon has even reached within an hour. The beach resorts of Sao Martinho do Porto and Nazare and Obidos world are wonderful places that one can visit . There are several golf courses within half an hour away. Just inland you find one of the largest natural parks and rural villages where a variety of native traditions and cuisine are to be discovered .
