Beautiful and spacious apartment in front of a wonderful beach. Very clean. The host is very helpful. The private parking is very important because the area is frequented by people going to the beach.

First time to visit Northern Spain and will certainly be going back to this area, there is so much to do and to see...if you can drag yourself off the beach! Stayed for 3 weeks, 4 children and 2 adults. Very clean and functional apartments with all that you would need for a stay of this length. Loads of hot water for hosing down sandy children after a day on the beach. Location is really perfect, apartment is right on the beach. The owner, Alex is very friendly and helpful, he was always on hand to help and answer any questions we had. Nothing was too much trouble. Area: There are some cafes and restaurants in the area and also a small supermarket 200m away. Better restaurants are in the village (3 klm) though. For larger supermarkets you need to travel further afield (Cabazon 10mins/Torrelavega 20 mins drive). Beach: The beach itself is great for children to play on, with rock pools to splash in and to go hunting for crabs, fish, or shrimps (hours of fun). Great for body boarding and surfing. There are some strong waves and swimming was restricted to the lifeguard patrolled areas though. But never felt that it was unsafe in the water. Anyway back to the accommodation....yes I would recommend this to a friend who wants a clean comfortable place to stay with the beach on your doorstep.
