The accommodation
The landscape from the terrace, surprises us with the views of the river Douro and the elements classified by Unesco as World Heritage , Church and Serra do Pilar, D. Luis bridge and Porto Cathedral.
From the terrace can also be seen on the left river bank, the historic area of Vila Nova de Gaia and the Port Wine cellars that are spread over the slope. The first cellar is 100 metres from the apartment.
The view over the right river bank allow the observation one of the most interesting Portuguese landscapes, the Historic Center of the city of Porto, only at 30 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes by bus.
It will take less than 10 minutes to walk down the hill until you get to the river bank. Why not a Douro River cruise?
In the back of the building there is a large area with trees and a very small construction density. In a very quiet area, with bus stop just 100 metres away and enough space to park the car, you can enjoy the visit to the region in the best way.

Great accommodation. Really nice and clean. Lovely view. We have everything what we needed. Local shop just next door so we did breakfast shopping there. Plenty space for car to park with is really important I think. Just Maria, lady who welcome us didn't speak any English but she was really lovely and friendly. She show us everything what we like to know. If we go back to Porto we like to stay there again.

Great place to stay
We stayed 2 weeks from 10 of august, and loved the place. It has everything you can need. Mrs. Maria is the sweatest lady one can imagine, and senhor Brandao is very friendly. Around the corner is a cafe/bakery a few steps from that a supermarked. Very close restaurants so you have all you need . We would love to be back.
