The accommodation

The villa is part of a typical Sicilian style building called 'Baglio' which dates back to the 19th century. It has just been tastefully renovated keeping the original stone walls and typical Sicilian flooring.

The villa is on two floors:

Ground floor: Two spacious bedrooms (22 m² each) both rooms have a double and single bed (space for another single bed if needed), private bathrooms with a double shower, hairdryer and linen.
The bright living room (33 m²) has a stylish library, and antique furniture (Carlo X e Luigi Filippo, from 1800s), a second living room (21 m²), dining room, fully equipped professional kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and a seperate laundry.

First floor: A romantic double bedroom, private bathroom with shower, bidet, hairdryer and linen. Access from the 1st floor to an outdoor terrace with spectacular views of the mountains and breathtaking countryside.

The villa is airconditioned and all modern comforts have been included including internet facilities.

Outdoors: A roof solarium, pefect for sunbathing and a terrace with an outdoor setting, a perfect spot to admire the views. There is also a pergola, garden surrounded by jasmine and a private car park and at the rear of the house, a private courtyard with a barbecue, umbrella, table and chairs.
Every detail in the house has been carefully studied to make sure our guests have an unforgettable holiday.

Different private outdoor areas depending on your mood:- sunbathe in the solarium, enjoy a cocktail on the roof terrace admiring the spectacular views, a romantic pergola in the front garden surrounded by jasmine or enjoy breakfast in the private courtyard under the umbrella.

The salt filtered pool 11m x 5m wide is set in 700 sqm of garden with an outdoor eating area.

Setting

Il baglio: baglio (deriving from the arabic bahah province-courtyard), is located in the heart of the sicilian countryside, between trapani, erice, segesta and san vito lo capo, in the centre of the ancient territory casale busith (which was its name in the 12th century) and today is known as buseto palizzolo.

Being noble and with unpretentious charm of an old farm house, the villa with its chromatic tones, harmonizes with an environment of extreme elegance and it conveys an immediate feeling of tranquility and discretion that the flow of the seasons and the connotation of colours, scents and different sounds depends on the sun's warm spring or autumn of melancholic brown. Immersed in the charm of intense sunsets and starry skies.

What to see: the position is ideal, slightly away from breathlessness and hectic convulsions of the city but making it the ideal place for a holiday.

With short excursions you can admire the remains of civilization that successive times (sicani, greeks, carthaginians, romans, arabs, normans, etc.) have left indelible traces in our territory. Some interesting historical-archaeological excursions and landscape can be made to the following sites: selinunte, segesta, erice, mozia, the salt pans, marsala, mazara del vallo, castellammare del golfo, san vito lo capo and the nature reserve zingaro. If you enjoy islands favignana and the egadi islands are close by.
