The accommodation

El Alloral de Llanes is a group of 8 houses ("El Acebo", "El Castaño", "El Nogal", "El Roble", "La Acacia", "La Encina", "La Morera" and "La Sabina") in the rural surroundings of Hontoria, halfway (15 kms.) between Llanes and Ribadesella.

The houses are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, such as heating, wood burning fireplace, TV, WIFI, hob, washing machine, microwave, juicer, toaster, hair dryer, blender, pressure cooker, iron and all the utensils of usual kitchen and table to not miss anything. We also have a cot, high chair and changing table if required and we accept pets (check availability and conditions).

The houses "El Acebo", "El Castaño", "El Nogal", "La Acacia", "La Encina", "La Morera" and "La Sabina" are on the ground floor and have a capacity of 4-5 people. Each house has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a kitchen and living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a double sofa bed (110cm bed), 2 armchairs and a TV. Each apartment goes out to its own garden equipped with furniture and barbecue grill to enjoy an outdoor gastronomic evening, surrounded by tranquility and a beautiful landscape.

The house-suite “El Roble” is on a higher floor and is equipped with an exclusive interior decoration and can accommodate 2-4 people. The apartment has a double bedroom, kitchen and living room with wood fireplace, a double sofa bed (135 cm bed), 2 armchairs and TV. It has, apart from its garden on the ground floor, a large Asturian-style balcony-corridor with tables and chairs to enjoy a pleasant rest contemplating the sea and the mountains. "El Roble" has the possibility of joining "El Nogal" forming an independent 2-story duplex ideal for those who require more occupancy (6 + 3 occupants) being together in the same house.

Setting

El Alloral de Llanes is very close to numerous beaches (which can be accessed on foot / 15-20 min., By bicycle / 5-10 min., Or by car) and all the tourist offer of the fishing villages of Llanes and Ribadesella (+ info on our website elalloral.com)

How to get El Alloral
Exit 306 of the A-8 (Cantabrian Highway) Naves-Villahormes-Hontoria. Then, at the junction, take the AS-263 road towards Villahormes. Following 1 km, just at the height of the Feve de Villahormes Station (on the left of the road), turn right towards Hontoria. Continue on the road (under the highway) for about 1 km until you reach the Church of Hontoria, where there is a playground where you can see some signs that indicate "El Alloral". Once on the way where the sign indicates we will see a set of holm oaks in front of several Asturian-style single-family houses (“El Regazal”). There is another sign of "El Alloral" that indicates a path that turns to the right, and following that path about 50 meters, you can see the parking lot and the entrance to El Alloral.

Activities and attractions

There is the possibility of multitude of activities such as horse riding, hiking, cycling, golf, Pitch & Putt, canyoning, canoeing, surfing, paddle-surfing, paintball, ornithology, etc. The Alloral de Llanes is a point of reservation and sale of the activities offered by Jaire Adventure, pitch & put Aldama Golf and Llanes Golf Club (+ info on our website elalloral.com).

Besides, you can enjoy excursions in the beautiful corners of the East of Asturias and the Natural Park of Picos de Europa (35 kms.). In the climate of Llanes it results from a combination between the sea and the Sierra del Cuera that, as a wall parallel to the coast, slows down the penetration of wind and humidity. The short distance of just 7 km between the Sierra de Cuera and the sea makes it act as a thermal moderator so the average temperature ranges from 8 degrees in the coldest month (January) to 21 degrees in the warmest month (August).
