It is located in chaté, a hamlet of torgnon, very little far from town (2 minutes drive), at 1650 meters high above sea level, in a very quiet property.
It got a 50 sqm private garden with a stunning view over the valtournenche valley (the matterhorn valley), exclusively reserved for the apartment and so its guests. Just as the apartment, the garden is sunnied all day long because of the lucky and open exposure to south.

Ultimate spot for families or groups of friends seeking sunshine, relax, a safe and peaceful space for children to play outside and the chance to take advantage of your vacation every minute even just resting a little while in the garden. Also, you don't have to look too far for walking trails, some start directly behind the corner!

the apartment got everything you may need during your stay. It is functional, cozy and pleasant to the eye.
It's organised as follows:

living room with open-plan kitchen (direct access to the private garden) where you'll find:
- a large sofa bed with 3 sitting seats (200x160 cm mattress - 2 beds)
- lcd television with satellite tv
- an extendable dining table with six chairs
- a large refrigerator with freezer
- a very useful microwave
- all the cooking and dining tools

plus, a booksharing corner filled with brochures, touristic aosta valley's infos, trails maps, books for babies etc. That might be useful and inspiring for your activities.

Bedroom (3 beds total) furnished with a bunk bed, a single storage bed and a large wardrobe to store your clothes with care. Pillows and blankets are provided, but usually sheets and towels are not: if you are coming by plane or in some way you are unable to bring your own just ask, i can exceptionally rent it to you.

Bathroom with shower. A hairdryer is provided.

The private garden with stunning view over the valtournenche valley and completely exposed to south. From late spring to early fall you'll find external wood table and benches on it: having breakfast on the garden regenerates even more than the food itself. Beach chairs and umbrella are also included.

The heating system: a lpg hot-water heating is installed and it's very user friendly, so much that there's nothing you have to do or remember to do! it does the job by itself supplying the radiators, hot water stream and the gas for the kitchen. No more old stoves or electrical boilers to be worried of!

How to reach torgnon lifts
lifts are reachable going to town where you can take the cablecar or going directly to the ski area where there's a chair lift waiting for you. In both cases driving distances are narrow (respectively 1,4 and 2 km) and you'll find free and wide parking areas.
Free skibus
people who don't want or cannot drive towards the lifts can use the free on-call skibus service: the stop is 20 meters far from the apartment. It's usually running on every single day of christmas holidays, all the weekends and the whole carnival week.

Wi-fi
here's a tip: central plaza in torgnon got a hot spot with free internet wi-fi (it's quite speedy too). Get there with your device to check your email or send pics home. The signal is good even in the bars around the plaza.

Shopping, bars, restaurants, ski rental
the facilities are in town, you'll find a supermarket, shops, ski rentals and skiing school, bars, restaurants, postal service, atm machine and so on...

torgnon is located in the valtournenche valley, better known as the matterhorn valley, one of the best side valleys of the region.

torgnon's ski resort includes a cable car, three chair lifts, a baby winterpark which is really appreciated by families with children who are going to learn skiing for the first time or are meeting the snow just for fun (it got slides, air playground and much more stuff) and a snowpark if you are looking for jumps and tricks with your snowboard or your ski. Of course you will find a ski and snowboard school. Torgnon's resort also got the highest sun exposure on slopes of the entire region (aosta valley).
All the alpine and nordic slopes, the baby winterpark, the snowpark, resort's bars and restaurants are close one to the other and well linked, so it's easy to look for each other for those who'd like to spend the day doing different activities.
Do not underestimate the fact that the ski area, thanks to the unique spot, its naturally protected from the strong winds which blow when atmosferic disturbances are coming over from north europe in the winter season. It often comes out that when cervinia's lifts are closed because of the strong wind, torgnon's are open without any problem.
The alpine slopes lenght is 23 kilometers and are all equipped with artificial snow machines. The slopes level of difficulty is varied: you can find blue ones for beginners, reds and blacks for skilled ones.
4 nordic slopes allow to exercise yourself in a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful panoramas. Loops are 3, 5, 7,5 e 15 km long, with the first one been equipped with artificial snow machines. Snowshoes tracks are also there and very pleasant too!
