The accommodation
It's an individual house built in Berbes in 2009, which is a small village next to Ribadesella. The house has a tradicional skin but it's very modern. It has a huge garden of 1200m2 and a very big porch of 40m2. This house is about 4km away to the highway, it's the perfect place to have a quiet holidays, with or without childrens.
You can see the coastal town of Lastres and of course the sea from this house. It's next to to the natural park "Sueve" and it's so close to a so beautiful beach, the Vega's beach. You can get into there by car or walking through some alternative ways.
Setting
The Ribadesella environment is one of the most beautiful zones of the north of Spain. On the one hand you cand find the Picos de Europa mountains and the Sueve park, on the other hand you can admire the precious beaches, involved in a tradicional background of wonderful houses and villages, where you can practise a lot of activities.
Activities and attractions
Asturias is a perfect natural paradise to practise whichever activity you prefer, like hiking, cycling, quads, canyoning, surfing, fishing, canoeing, paintball, bungee jumping, etc. The gastronomy of Asturias is so attractive too.
To sum up, it's the ideal place to switch off the diary routine and the perfet place to relax in a unic place.

Lovely house and location
The house was great. Really clean (thank you Paula) and with a great view of the sea and Llastres. It was mostly well equipped but with some strange omissions. There is no oven in the kitchen, and no outdoor oven or BBQ. There are absolutely no supplies in the kitchen (apart from salt, which we found on day 3), so, having arrived by plane, we had to buy oil, vinegar, s&p etc etc. Also only 3 dishwasher tablets. Again, a complete pain if you are flying in and out. Small things like this would make a huge difference. Beware, especially if you have younger children, that all 3 tables are glass, including the one on the porch. A bit scary! Our kids would have appreciated wifi or DVD player. Finally, the house has no information folder to tell you practical stuff about rubbish and the fact that the lovely outdoor shower has by far the best water pressure, but also useful stuff about beaches, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, the great local bar. Again this would make a big difference, particularly if you are not Spanish and are new to this outstanding area. Berbes is a great place to be based, with idyllic Vega beach 5 minutes away.
