The accommodation
El Cortijo Calima has a wide area of 3,000 square meters with different spaces to enjoy and relax. The unique swimming pool (7x5.5) with sun loungers and umbrellas, barbecue and dining area and 'chill out zone' in the stone terrace. The Cortijo has areas for children to play (away from the pool area if desired).
El Cortijo is decorated in a modern-rustic style with a touch of Moorish influence. The cottage has three bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, large kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, a large living room (also with dinning area) large sofa and fireplace, TV and DVD. We have a wide selection of books and DVDs. We have parking for six cars.
Setting
El Cortijo Calima, is located in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata, by the sandy beach of Escullos declared a biosphere reserve. Only 30 minutes from Almeria airport. The beach of Escullos is 10 minutes walk from the house along a path through the countryside (you can see the beach from the Escullos from the garden of the house in the photo) you can also drive there through the road if you wish.
The Cortijo Calima is located near the famous natural beaches of The Genoese, Cala Shaman, Monsul which are just 8 minutes by car. The Camping the Escullos is an easy 8 minutes walk. The campground has a restaurant, supermarket, gym and wireless internet zone. The village of San José with its shops, restaurants and cafes is only 10 minutes by car from the farmehouse.
