The accommodation

"The 95 sqm apartment is located on the fifth and top floor of a building with an elevator; however, the elevator does not stop at the entrance. IMPORTANT: Guests must take the elevator to the sixth floor and then walk down the stairs to reach the apartment on the fifth floor.

The interior space is arranged as follows:

A fully equipped kitchenette with a gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, moka coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, traditional oven, and microwave.
A living room with a sofa, A/C unit, TV, and dining table.
Bedroom I with a double bed, wardrobe, A/C unit, and en-suite bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and shower.
Bedroom II with a double bed, wardrobe, and A/C unit.
A second bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and shower.
A 40 sqm terrace equipped with an umbrella, table, and chairs.
Additional amenities available to guests: Unlimited WiFi, independent heating, mosquito nets, washing machine, drying rack, iron, and ironing board.
Towels and bed linens included (optional extra changes available for a fee).

Other things to note:
There are two small steps inside the apartment leading to the living room and one of the bedrooms.
The apartment is located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so please check local restrictions if traveling by car.
The fireplace is NOT usable."

7 days before your arrival, you will receive instructions to register your documents through our Guest Portal and pay the Tourist Tax required by the Municipality of Salerno. The tax is EUR 1.50 per person per night for the first 5 nights. Children under 12 years old are exempt.

This procedure is necessary to verify your details and documents and to send the required information to the police service "Alloggiati Web," the official Italian system for guest registration.

The operation of air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 383 of 6.10.2022).

Summer: The average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.
Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The activation period and daily usage duration depend on the climate zone defined by regulations.
Salerno Climate Zone C: 9 hours per day from November 22 to March 23.
For check-ins between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM, a €25 surcharge will be applied, payable in cash upon arrival. Check-in after 12:00 AM is not possible, even for an additional fee. All late check-ins must be arranged and approved in advance.
Self check-in is available using a keybox, depending on your needs. Please inform us if you prefer this option.

Early check-in (before 2:00 PM) is only possible if there are no departing guests on the same day and can therefore be confirmed only a few days before arrival.

"The apartment is located in the heart of Salerno, just a short distance from Teatro Verdi and Villa Comunale, the city's main garden, which hosts various events throughout the year, such as the traditional "Mostra di Minerva" in April and the famous "Luci d'Artista" light festival during the Christmas season.

In Salerno’s historic center, you will be captivated by the charming alleys, rich in history and culture! The area is full of churches, monuments, and an endless selection of places to enjoy, including restaurants, bars, and pizzerias.

Within a 5-minute walk, you can reach the stunning waterfront and Santa Teresa Beach, where you can admire breathtaking views, enjoy a gelato while strolling, go for a run, or rent a bike. In just 3 minutes on foot, you can reach Piazza Alfano I, home to Salerno Cathedral, the city's most important Catholic place of worship.

Walking along Via de’ Mercanti, one of Salerno’s main shopping streets—an ancient and picturesque road that crosses the old city—you will arrive at the Provincial Art Gallery, housed on the first floor of Palazzo Pinto, a 17th-century noble residence once owned by one of Salerno’s most influential families.

Finally, one of the must-visit landmarks during your stay is the Arechi Castle. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view over the Gulf of Salerno, stretching from the tip of the Amalfi Coast to Agropoli—a sight that will leave you speechless!"
