The accommodation

The apartment has 2 bedrooms, living room with kitchen equipped with all appliances: dishwasher, electric oven, hob with electric plates, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine.
It has 1 full bathroom with shower, 1 bathroom without shower, large terrace on two sides of the apartment, private washer-dryer column in the laundry room.

Setting

Campione is an Italian enclave in Switzerland, to get there you have to cross Swiss territory and citizens of the European Union must have at least a valid, unexpired identity card.
Citizens of other states must have a passport and possibly a visa to enter Switzerland.
The apartment is located in the upper part of Campione after the third tunnel, in a condominium with 4 buildings and you must carefully follow the instructions to identify the right accommodation.
It has a splendid 180° view of the lake, to get there you need a car, the garage is free.
You enter the condominium from above and then go down towards the garage and then towards the buildings equipped with elevators for easy access with suitcases.

Activities and attractions

Campione is located on Lake Lugano (Lago Ceresio) and is 10 km from Lugano which is on the opposite side of the lake.
In the immediate vicinity you can find several interesting places such as Bissone, Melide, Morcote, Voco Morcote with their restaurants and crotti overlooking the lake.
Lake Ceresio is the setting of the famous novel by Antonio Fogazzaro "Piccolo mondo antico".
A 1-hour drive away you will find important ski areas such as San Bernardino, Airolo, Carì, Nara, Bosco Gurin, Cardada Cimetta, etc.
You can find mountain bike trails within a few km as well as walks and excursions in the mountains Monte Tamaro, Monte Boglia, San Salvatore and also multi-day excursions with overnight stays in high mountain huts.
30 km to the east is Lake Como (Lago Lario) with all the internationally famous places: Bellagio, Menaggio, Cernobbio, etc.
Lake Como is the setting of the famous novel by Alessandro Manzoni "The Betrothed".
30 km to the West there is Lake Maggiore (Lake Verbano) with several internationally famous locations such as: Verbania, Stresa, Intra, Pallanza, Borromean Islands, Brissago Islands, Ascona, Locarno, etc.
70 km away you can visit Milan, the city of fashion and financial engine of Lombardy and Italy.
