The accommodation

This 3 bedroom apartment is in the top Marbella location of Nueva Andalucia and is close to Puerto Banus.
There are many restaurants, bars and shops within a one minute walk.
It is airconditioned throughout.
There is an endless supply of hot water, which is included in the rental price.
Electricity, linen and towels are provided free of charge.
The swimming pool is open during the summer months only.
There is a designated parking space for one car in the secure underground garage and this is also free of charge.

Setting

It is situated on the 5th floor of a residential building and houses exclusively families.
As a consequence, the quiet hours have been set at between midnight and 08.00 hours daily.
It is located in the prime area of Marbella called Nueva Andalucia. Taxis are plentiful and there are bus stops nearby with buses regularly running to San Pedro de Alcantara, Puerto Banus and Marbella.
A car is not required, but it is advisable.
Renters must be more than 30 years of age and not all of the same gender. No parties or loud music.

Activities and attractions

Marbella Old Town and Puerto Banus Harbour are must sees.
There are various rastro (markets) which are worth a visit, such as the Thursday San Pedro de Alcantara and Saturday Centro Plaza (Puerto Banus) ones.
The large shopping area of La Canada has a large variety of clothes shops including a good supermarket and an excellent hardware store.
Bicycles can be rented nearby, as can cars, boats and day trips to see dolphins for example.
The Brisish Overseas Territory of Gibraltar is about 65 kms away. The 'Barbary Macaques' by the peak are interesting, plus the views over Morocco are spectacular.
Definitely worth a visit is the town of Ronda (50 kms), with it's famous stone bridge spanning the gorge. Should you wish to visit, the Bull Ring (built 1785) is still functioning and is open to visitors, though there is not much to see inside and is poor value for money in my view - but historical.
