The accommodation

Can Xargay is a beautiful and spacious holiday villa with charm of XI century located in the quiet and safe village of Mata (Porqueres), only 2 km. from Banyoles lake, 15 km. from the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa and 35 km. from the beaches of the Costa Brava. Besides, it is also 15 km. from Girona city, 30 km. from the Dalí Museum in Figueres and 1 hour from the city of Barcelona. The house is in a walking distance from shops and restaurants and a short drive from Airport of Girona-Costa Brava (25 km.).

The accommodation is rented exclusively for a group from 10 up to 20 people, with 8 cosy bedrooms. The house is an accessible villa which is adapted for wheelchairs users. Besides, there are a fully equipped kitchen, large living room with TV satellite (international channels), air conditioning, central heating, large fireplace, games room with professional ping pong table and football table, dart board, board games, a kitchenette wooden for children..., a reading room, wellness center (health and wellness area), high speed internet - wifi.

Outside there is a beautiful garden with swings for children, a covered porch with barbecue which is ideal for eating outside all year round and a nice private heated swimming pool with an hydromassage bench. Besides, there is a charging point for electric cars.

Possibility of arriving by public transport. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk from the house. Supermarkets and the hospital are 1 km from the house.

The location of the house allows you to take a wide variety of routes on foot or by bike to the lake (estany) and its places declared of natural interest. Or if you prefer, you can take different excursions around the province of Girona since we are located in the centre of the Girona regions.

All products used are 100% natural and ecologically certified.

- The electricity supplied to the house and also to heat the water in the pool comes from 100% renewable sources.
- The appliances are energy efficient A.
- The lighting, both inside and outside, is with LED and/or low-consumption bulbs.
- The rooms have an intelligent system that automatically turns off the heating or air conditioning when the window is open. When the window is closed, the air conditioning system turns back on.

RECYCLING
- We encourage selective waste disposal with bins in the kitchen and also on the barbecue porch of the following fractions: glass, paper, plastic, organic matter and other waste.
